Depression

Depression is when a headache
knocks you out for at least a day
and not wanting to believe in your
worth it's feeling every pulse and
ache in your body it's not wanting
to get up in the morning it's a night
without sleep, it's wanting to drink
it's telling yourself your life isn't
bad enough feel this way and being
told that your life isn't bad enough
to feel this way and then subsequently
making your life bad enough to feel
this way, oops, it's reality, and enough to
to end what's real, and still be blamed for
it, it's like being too much a part of your
body, and not caring enough, to keep
your mind, sane, it's writing on a chalk
bored in an empty classroom, just to
see white lines that fade instead of red
lines that scar, it's listening to every
song on the internet past midnight to
keep yourself alive it's forgetting to
charge your battery it's running on
empty it's giving up on your body
when your soul's still stuck inside,
having toothpaste, a hairbrush and
warm water but, refusing to feel
clean, it's crying too much, and
not being able to, it's everything.
