Demons Within
The man above me points his gun,
Eyes swirling with a hypnotic insanity.
He desires, no he needs to hear me cry,
To hear me scream and beg for my life.
He thinks he has broken me,
But I won't cry, not even to save my life.
I wont be missed in this world,
There will be no one to cry.
Except for maybe one.
So it is to you that I speak,
That I beg to understand.
For so long have I loved you,
For so long have we been friends.
When we met you saved me,
But now no one can save me.
For who could save me from a man this insane?
I remember you,
Your smile, as the bullet clicks into place.
Your laugh, as the hammer falls back.
Your lips, as the finger hovers over the trigger.
Your kiss, as the bullet is fired.
And it is your face that I see as i finally close my eyes.
Did I mention that the man with the gun was me?
