Death By Train

Giving up, she stood on the tracks
Though morbidly curious,
Shd refused to look back
And it came.
Stronger.
Louder.
Stronger.
Faster.
But not as fast as the momentum of her heart.
As the rail split in two
And her flesh fell apart.
The rumble.
The thunder.
The lighting.
The sparks!
All bled so dull to this place she would mark.
Cool metal veins, flowed straight to her blood
Led that iron monster to her shoes on the wood.

"Face your fears."
And what?
And peace you will find?
She let hers embrace her.
Her fears
From behind.
Running away, she simply stood still
Allowing her terror to be her last pill.
Last razor to wrist.
Last demon to kill.
Where is she now!
Where was her will?
Where do you stand?
Rebuking the judgement.
Defeating the pain.
Because in her warped perspective...
She won through the train.
