Death

Death, death, all around.

Not making a peep, not making a sound.

It's not death coming for me that I fear.

It's death coming for the people that I hold most dear.

To live a life without someone you love is scary.

That's just a horrible pain that I don't want to carry.

Of course I know that death is a part of life.

You just think about them more when they're dead, day and night.

Wondering if they're watching over you from up above.

Wondering if that dove that just flew over you, is a symbol of their love.

Thankfully, I never had to experience death directly,

But last time I checked, it's inevitable if I remember correctly.

That's the scary part, that it's out of my control.

Losing someone I love, will make me unwhole.
