Dear White Canvas

Location

I feel like a blank paper

and nothing more

absent of color,

tone, and glow

If what my future holds

is sadness and despair,

I guess it's okay to say that

I no longer care

I don't know what to do

I don't know where to go

and I don't feel like looking

for my path down this road

I feel like disappearing,

like getting out of my life

and become part of the audience

in my show passing by

Dear White Canvas,

nothing more clear

to show everyone

the truth of my fears

Mirror of my soul

Reflection of the heart

My Dear White Canvas,

you're tearing me apart

Nothing to say

and nothing to feel

This feeling you give

is just so unreal

The rage of nothing

and the fear of a fall

Dear White Canvas,

are these feelings at all?

Dear White Canvas,

nothing more clear

to show everyone

the truth of my fears

Mirror of my soul

Reflection of the heart

Dear White Canvas,

you're tearing me apart

And for now all I can say

is that time passes and things change

But my Dear White Canvas, who will always remain,

I can honestly say you leave me the same
