Dear Sister

You don't realize do you?

What you put this family through,

with just one little lie,

to be with a boyfriend of twenty-five.

Do you realize what you made me do?

I grew up quick because of you.

You put me in the middle of it all

causing my thoughts of you to fall.

Whenever we used to have a "visit",

I wouldn't say much in it

for everything I said you made into a competition.

Just stop! Listen to my petition!

I went through counseling for years,

but not once did I shed tears.

Through your teeth, you lied.

To get us to feel guilty, you tried.

So I say Dear Sister,

go have fun with your mister.

I said what I had to say,

maybe you'll accept it; one day.
