Dear Mr. Mystery

Location

The sapphire tint of midnight must soon come to an end,

And the golden rays of day have to show me the way,

I am unaware of who you are and where you’ve been,

But though I have never seen you,

I continue to hold the scarlet beat of love within my heart,

Though I have never touched you,

I frequently embrace an invisible force,

I lavish the moments I lose myself in thoughts of you,

Those thoughts control my most subtle actions,

Ones I cannot describe in words,

But rather in a variety of tints and shades,

Siena, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Cyan, Crimson,

May the colors shade your days and nights,

As you also wait for me to enter your exquisite life of troubles and moments of relentlessness,

My hope is placed into your heart,

In hopes of it growing into love,

A melting candy sensation within the pits and holes of my empty walls,

I dream of red nights and lavender scented sheets,

Your arms contain a healing medication that subdues my most lustful wounds,

Baby, I can just replay the scenes of you in my mind,

As if you were a slow-fading image I can’t restore,

Yes, a slow-fading image…

But Mr. Mystery, Where are you?
