"Dear Mom."

Dear mom.

You broke me in 10,000 itty bitty pieces of heartbroken disaster.

Then you left me to fix it, all by lonesome.

You never even once considered the damage you had done to me.

Those 10,000 itty bitty pieces of heartbroken disaster are mended now, no thanks to you

They fit together now like a puzzle piece.

Except this puzzle has holes and tears in it where it couldn't be mended.

A chunk here

A hole there.

You will never care.

It will never be a full image.

the missing pieces are the ones that you took from me,

my innocence,

my happiness,

my faith,

my trust.

Those 10,000 itty bitty pieces of heartbreak create and image.

That image is me.
