Dear in the Headlights

as i walk outside in the dark.

The words keep coming,

"Jump now"

But i wanna be sure,

The first sign said 55mp, now 65mph.

I just have to wait & pick the right car,

As i walk, i listen to "Is Anybody out There" by K'naan

While tears flow like a riverbank

That's when i stop, i

Set down my letter,

Just waiting keep telling mysef,

The right car will come,

That's when i saw a BMW speeding,

Towards me,

Dressed in all black

I step out into the hwy, waiting

Thats when the car saw me, but

It was too late,

My body fly down the hwy,

Blood & glass everywhere,

The lady runs towards me, screaming & crying.

She calls 9-1-1, as she do,

i say my last words

"Thank you"

But if I had that dear friend to talk to nun of it would've happened

but instead

I died like a deer going into the headlights
