Dear Greed- The Shallowness of all

Location

United Kingdom

Dear Greed,

You no longer make me feel the wonders I felt before.

Your touch has turned cold,

like the wrath of Hades has turned my heart,

black with the hate of many,

pouring into dust.

I wish I could feel your embrace,

but your shallowness is apparent.

You have clouded my vision,

broken minds and spirits.

I abhor and worship you,

hoping you will fill my heart with coins,

but they will not compare,

to the affecton I hunger for.

You have left all of us,

to drown in our sorrows,

and until death do we part,

will we be saved.
