Dear Blank
Dear Blank,
You are the alarm I groan at when I'm waking,
you are the cream shower wall that is an audience to my singing.
You are the empty space I yell at after school,
after all the day of "learning" makes me feel like a fool.
You are the conversation in my head I have,
while I eat dinner listening to mom and dad.
You are the warm blanket I curl up in,
Snug as a bug in my bed that was given.
You are the voice that keeps me up until 2,
Dear Blanket, the one that is always there, I know it has always been you.
