Daybreak, Act 6

The Day Breaks in shades of red

The fore-warning shade of doom for those below

Night washed away by the rising sun

Whispers of waking Verona

Fresh dew mixing with old blood

Morn comes with the sour taste of regret

The Day Breaks over a feud resolved.

This was written as part of a school assignment to write poems inspired by William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.
