A Day Worth Waiting For

There was a weeping willow tree standing still and strong

Our secret sanctuary lay dormant in it's arms

With ocean waves and a Florida breeze singing us a song

A bed of roses to console us to the break of dawn

So let's carry out the sunset, only me and you

Bring me the horizon and we'll wait upon the moon

Orange and red bleed to the sky as day begins to run

Nature calmly waits in silence for the night to come

The sun is falling now far beneath the line

All of natures beauty is reflected through your eyes

The owls all will sing a song to stop the sands of time

We'll kiss and I'll look to your eyes and you, you're all mine

So let's carry out the sunset, only me and you

Bring me the horizon and we'll wait upon the moon

With ocean waves and a Florida breeze singing us a song

It may just be a dream for now but it shouldn't be too long

So let's carry out the sunset, only me and you

Bring me the horizon and we'll wait upon the moon.
