Daughter of pua

The daughter of pua

Her foundation like rich soil keeping her grounded her arms
stretching out like petals towards the sun yearning for light and life
daughter of flowers

Her tears falling like rain from her skies swaying in the breeze like
daisies, twriling on the tightrope of conscience praying not to fall
from new found grace into shadow into the cold miasma of despair
that cuts and tears the mind and the thought the body and the heart
within it oh daughter of flowers.

Wrapped in chains of Adams design bound by the law of your
flesh you give it words to speak to make it rest while your heart
sings to God, oh daughter of flowers sing to Jah.

The wind is your gait, it follows your lead Carrying you across
oceans like the angels of mid-heaven the dawn your cresting wave
bearing the warmth of the Earth to thaw the cold and the cruel at
heart, Oh daughter of flowers cast your seed.

You search as for silver your home your Eden the garden of God
thirsting for life’s water to wash yourself clean. Beset by Eve’s
regret bound by Adams chain you remain though you stretch your
arms out like petals towards the sun yearning for light and life. Oh
daughter of flowers reach for the son.
