Darkness

The Earth's sweet kiss

Swallowing my red tears,

Enfolded in her cold embrace

Drowning in my fear.

The Sun's golden rays

Slowly disappearing in the darkness,

Shining during my final days

His last salute to me.

Death's cold stare

Sitting on an empty throne,

Separating dark from light

In this place, so unfair.

This, my final day.

My last painful breath.

Death is all that is left,

And then, only darkness.
