We were like a bright and sunny day, But a dark cloud hovered and you became gray. Once sitting and laughing until we cried, Now something happened, our flower died. I wondered if things were better would we still be okay? Would our friendship still blossom to this day? I'm somewhat sorry for the way things turned out. You were a great friend but the things you did filled me with doubt. We had to take a break so I wouldn't fall through, And end up in a way that resembled you. I still reminisce about those bright and sunny days, but something still lingers, it is the dark path that led you away.
