Dancing Feet

The night was cold the stars shown bright,

All was calm, all was silent,

An unnatural wind rustled through the brush,

Pounding, a rumbling across the ground

This is what freedom is, nothing in the way,

Just empty space and your feet pounding the earth,

Nothing will take this away,

The desire runs in the blood charging through,

It burns, and it churns like fire through the muscles,

Black, silk flows in the wind,

Strands glowing in under the stars light,

It is strength and it is power

And it is not to be defeated,

A battle it calls for, a warrior to take it all,

Tonight is the night no more waiting,

Hooves ground the soil to a beating heart,

The wind, the earth, the fire, the spirit.
