Damsel in Distress

I am a Princess

Of strong and willful mind

I am not the most skillful

But I consider myself kind

I am very loyal

and keep my followers near

But yet the world around me

Is not the place I fear

The Queen is my mother

She raised me right

This is true indeed

But worried on her people's words

She never dares to fight

The Jester is my brother

And a popular Prince he can be

But he throws tomatoes threw my window

And makes me feel so ugly

Because the King is what he thinks as he

The Dragon is my Father

Yet he can be a kind King

For a moment he loves

And teaches me

But turns to treat me like a thing

My home is my tower

My dreaded little keep

The only santurary I know

But my Hell very down so deep

So my Love,

Come riding to me

On a beautiful white horse

Because all I ask you to be

Is the Knight to come rescue me

This poem is about:
Me
My family
