Like A Daisy
I am
A daisy in a pasture of roses, subtle and sweet
Like a cliff against a tsunami, unmovable and silent
The force of a stampede of buffalo, great and powerful
The roar of a fire on a cold winter night, familiar and safe
And yet,
I am
The roar of an engine in the middle of the night, startling and shocking
Like a massive avalanche rolling down a hill, crushing and without hesitation
The grinding of steel in a car crash, unrelenting and tragic
A thunderstorm in the middle of sunshine, unusual and breaking
I am
Everything and nothing, all at once
I am Cheyanna.
