You're gone, but you are never forgotten. You were my hero, and I was your little girl. You used to hug me and tell me that you love me. We would take the boat out and fish all day, but now you are gone. Why are you gone daddy? You left and took my life with you. Did you not love me daddy? I was so young forced into the cold world without the protection of a father. But some how I made it to my teen years. You would be so proud of me. Are you proud of me daddy? Mama is proud of me. While I play basketball and softball, I always feel your presence in the stands. You used to cheer so loud, but now you cheer from heaven. And I can still hear you because heaven isn't that far.
