Unfavored and disliked;
never accepted or enjoyed.
Her presence brings quietness.
Like the end of a battle,
all stare at her with closed mouths,
with stares that could kill,
with unexplained envy,
they watch as she takes her place.
They all begin to pick up their stones
and each take turns at verbal attacks,
every word killing her slowly.
Covering her face she dare not look back,
dare not look one in the eyes,
in fear that the storm may become a hurricane.
