Cupid's Bow

Location

Cupid placed his bow upon her mouth

And left it there for safekeeping

She guards it with a quirk of her lip

Mischief tucked into the corner

Where she holds her cigarettes

And secrets perched on the tip of her tongue

That blow smoke like black cherries,

Bittersweet goodbyes, and frantic first times

Like better things to come

She blows a kiss: an arrow flies
