Cruel Are You

The hate you give

is like a knife being plunged

through my skin,

piercing my soul.

Your words so cruel

they cling inside my skull

as you walk away.

By the way I smile,

You don't know how much

you have hurt me.

By the way I laugh

I tell you that your voice

is not making me bleed.

You don't know anything.

You don't know the hate you give.

Your eyes seem open

yet you don't see me.

You don't see the hate you give.

Comments

YulizaZielinski.

I just wanted to say I took a break from Poetry and it's been awhile, so this is a little ( a LOT)  rough.

I'll start getting better again. sorry. I just want to get into poetry again. Thanks!
