THE COURT

THE COURT (A Poem By Irusota)

The Court

The massive court

For the big Litigants

Who are descendants of mother wealth

The court

The holder of justice

suspended in space

by its potent Lordship

The court

an endless stream of Litigation,

where Litigants are enmeshed in the murky waters of Litigation

Gasping for air of survival

Gasping for Justice

The court

The old and young

They have used the court as they like

Sit on it as a sofa, ride it as a horse

The court

What great mistruth

They have daily neglected the truth

declaring the innocent guilty

Pronouncing the guilty innocent

The court

I thought you were the hope of the common man, my friend!

Oh the court

A temple of injustice
