The Cost of a Catalyst

The world is empty; there is nowhere to run.

The fear, whether fatal by self or empathic is immense.

Hope is sought, however, the dismal abyss is all that is found.

Will I be around to see the change?

Shall I be the one to start a change?

Shall I not be around to see the change?

Or shall I fall in the midst of sparking the change?

Nevertheless, change is inevitable.

Entropy is a law that even the law cannot bribe.

Black, brown, white, or anywhere in between,

We are all the same and deserve the same rights.

But we cannot pretend that it has already been achieved.

I ache for a change, my first step is education.

“The most powerful weapon against tyranny is education.”
