Confession booth

Mon, 09/18/2017 - 16:08 -- Neftee

I learned the secret to success
Is to push on when you can't.
But my brains are battered
My soul is wet.
My hands are tired,
Please don't forget,
That I tried harder then ever
To no good effect.
I'll just keep digging my grave
Till I cease to regret.
But is it over yet?
My darling the ocean is red.
My heart has opened
You've pulled out it's threads.
Here at the end of the sorrow,
Beginnings still start,
But the curtains that open
Are shimmery and dark.
I love the way the sky falls
When I try to make it Work,
Maybe someday we can laugh about it
Maybe then
It won't hurt.
