Concerto

In a darkened room, where shadows reign

A spark within restarts the musical refrain

A heavy heart, once lost, now beats anew

As the skylark's sweet melody shines through

She replays the dreams she thought were lost

Lyrics ripple like a stream, a gentle boast

The invisible piano marches on

She sings with a melodious, mournful tone

Attachments trap the untainted heart

Leaving her alone, torn apart

No sunlight warms, and no delight remains

Only the hidden moon's pale, ghostly stains

But then she realizes the shadow's guile

The crunchy bites that fuel her inner smile

The friend she seeks is none other than her own

Inner firefly, that guides her through the unknown

The music of yellow light, a warm caress

Touches her red lips, and kisses her plain forehead's stress

Holding her white hands, it consoles her soul

Assuring her, nothing's lost, making her whole

Ask her to replay the music of lush sparks

And let the melody heal her deepest scars.
