We occupy imperfect space,

Try best to carve our jagged place,

Among the others of our race-

Look for a hand to hold.

You may feel skeptical at first,

But solitude is far, far worse,

"Together" is our chorus verse-

Reach out your hand to hold.

When days seem ever the more dim,

And tears fill bright eyes to the brim,

You're giving up, and giving in-

Your hand I'll tightly hold.

Because now you are not alone,

You'll never be, we are your home,

Wherever feet may make you roam-

Your hand is never cold.
