Communication of the Unspoken

My smile

Secretly pleaded

Was all I needed

It asked

For someone to fix the cracks and wavering

To acknowledge my joy and kindness

My hands

Were shaking from all the irritation of others

Are shaking from all the affection of others

My words

Expressed my refusal of your time consuming ventures

Express my approval of your amusing adventures

My eyes

Avoided eye contact in fear of your pride and dominance

Stare right at yours, in case you've forgotten my confidence

Communication

Saved me from anything sever,

like not seeing a new year

Allows my friends and I to cheer,

for things like seeing a new year

Now

I'm free

I'm free.
