"Comfort-zone"

Hebrews 13:16 New English Translation (NET Bible)

16 And do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for God is pleased with such sacrifices.

Much misery across the waves

Many countries deeply affected

Far beyond common human mistakes

So much destruction among the neglected

“Signs of the times”, called by some

“Judgment”, softly whispered another

Look at all the damage done

While most of us don’t even bother

We just notice this when it hits home

Is home not where most thoughts reside?

The place where we form our own clones

In ways and actions we just can’t hide

On a slab called: “selfishness”

We lay our stones of desire

Cemented oft by our loneliness

As then sensitivity burns with fire

Hungering to move forward

With our intention in reverse

Moving slowly but surely toward

The fruits nurtured by the curse
