Come back to me

I'll wait for your return

Sitting on that old oak swing you built for me

Amongst the tall fern trees

I'll wait for your return

I'll wait for your return

As i tuck the kids into their beds

Your words are always inside my head

I'll wait for your return

I'll wait for your return

On the coldest of nights

Whatever happened to you it will be alright

I'll wait for your return

I'll wait for your return

While everyone gives me pitiy, though I don't know why

And sometimes I hear our children cry

I'll wait for your return

I'll wait for your return

Even if they say you're gone

I know you won't be long

I'll wait for your return
