Color of Emotion

Location

Blinding crimson rushes by
Roars through my head, screaming
Shaped like a lion
Cracking like lightning
Shaking my fragile frame to its core.

In the wake of the killer
Dark blue and purple, brooding
Consumes my shivering
Deadens my blistering
Lays icy calm over the stinging char.

The green of the outside permeates
Into my soul, healing
A soothing balm
A peaceful meditation
Powers untold in nature and God.

Light as a feather rests my heart
Yellow sunlight, streaming
Through my being
Into the air
The smile in my depths illuminates.
