College Costs

The bills pile high, a daunting stack,
A monetary, heart-attack.
My savings dwindle, stress takes hold,
A future mortgaged, stories told
Of ramen nights and budget woes,
Where every dollar carefully goes.

Yet in these halls, a fire burns,

A thirst for knowledge that returns
A brighter vision, sharper mind,
A world of possibilities to find.
Though costly now, the seed is sown,
A future reaped, uniquely grown.
The price is steep, the struggle real,
But the worth within, I truly feel.
