"Clock ticking"

Time goes on for infinity,

Seeming endless and out of reach,

Tick-tock goes the clock,

Round and round the watch,

At the same time,

Trying to focus on the test,

The annoying tick-tock of the clock,

On the wall of the study hall,

The tick-tock of the watch on his wrist,

As he stood frozen in the between life and death,

Time goes on nonetheless,

As the saying goes,

“Time favors no man”,

Why, hello, time I’m not your #1 fan,

though, if you didn't exist,

Neither would I.
