The Climb

Wouldn’t it be something if tomorrow was always promised?

But life takes high climbs, it’s not easy, to be honest

They say to not take it too seriously for no one makes it out alive

Thankfully it’s not always too difficult, breath, take five

It seems that the higher you climb, the harder it gets

But we continue, taking strides, living with no regrets

Everyone aspires to reach the top, to say that they made it

Keep working hard even when your balance seems faded

When you reach the highest point, take it in like a book

You’ll realize how all your life, so many things were overlooked

You can’t go back now, so what do you do?

That’s it, you made it.  Good for you.
