Clear drive
It rains with a clear sky in my car
Windows down blocking my path
Crashing into what I kno
With what I want
Roads open take your toll
I took sanity
They took my roles
Poles and action figures
The only things I looked up to
I blinded myself with mom’s curfew
Streetlights came on
And dimmed my vision
Friends gathered around
Friends with benefits came in town
Laughter goes on downstairs
A party next door
Wine gets passed around
Children laugh with adults
The world is happy
I am not
