Citris Sun
Summer sun rises,
Bobbing above the water.
It fizzes and turns, letting the most beautiful shades of lemon and tangerine engulf its surroundings.
I bask in its citrus sent.
As time rolls on, pigments morph into a cherry sunset.
It envelopes me in tingling sensations.
I feel fresh, renewed, and smooth.
I breath in the safety and peace.
I breath out the fear and despair.
Warmth scorches my skin,
Leaving it as pink as lemonade.
I pull the plug.
My relaxing sun spirals into the abyss.
Goodnight sun, until we meet again.
