Walking down the street

What do I see?

You. Me. We.

The same being

the same life

one, human

 

And there's a tv

showing the inhumanity

of humanity itself

ourselves, friends, family

caught in an illusion

that we're all different

but no, we're human

black or white Human

male or female Human

 

Yet we harm one another

and we hate eachother

we get in fights with our own reflections

until we're all cut up and bruised

and the mirror is shattered

broken pieces of love, compassion, friendship

on the ground

scars of anger and agression

mind unsound

a life lost

 

We are one

We are human

a dominant species

yet so ignorant in our existence

that we divide ourselves

unequally, immorally

Wrong

 

Make it right

make things better

before we're gone

while we're together

the time you have

is the most valuable thing

use it wisely
