Self-ie Expression Examination

circle all that apply

I live in a world of self-ie expression

Where I, a user of Twitter, Tumblr, and Facebook, scrape the surface of my personality by:

  1. choosing pale imitations of polaroid, to pull tanned tone to the other side of the spectrum
  2. adding poorly drawn clipart, to cover my lying, deceiving eyes
  3. using the wannabe Photoshop apps  to be something I’m not

I get by in a world of self-ie expression

Where I, a user of Twitter, Tumblr, and Facebook, bury my stories by:

  1. lightening my skin to hide my blushing face caused by Her smile
  2. placing clipart of hearts to imply the emotion of being in love with Her
  3. misusing the wannabe Photoshop apps to camouflage my desire to whisper all of my secrets into Her skin

I subsist in a world of self-ie expression

Where I, a user of Twitter, Tumblr and Facebook, barricade my weakened heart by:

  1. saturating the colors of my church clothes to show my love of god rather than my love of Her
  2. posing foolishly with boys to dodge “what guy do you like?” than being with Her
  3. abusing the wannabe Photoshop apps to melt away the label “lesbian” rather than loving Her

I suffer in a world of self-ie expression

Where I, a user of Twitter, Tumblr and Facebook, erase flaws that make me human by:

  1. circling all of the above
