Cinderella's Twist

She held a knife under her gown,

ready to be unsheathed,

as she continued to ride around town,

in a situation, she couldn't believe.

She thought she was crazy,

absolutely insane,

or maybe just hungry,

"Stay in your own lane!"

She began to reason with herself, as the cart began to bounce.

"This cart was a pumpkin, the driver's a loon, and the prince will pounce.

He is no gentleman, nothing close. He's a creep and a loser. Why me?"

She worried about seeing him at the ball and how inappropriate he could be.

But, she wouldn't let it happen, her name was Cinderella, she would rather stab him with glee.
