There once was a boy
Who gave a girl a valentine
And asked her sweetly,
"Would you be mine?"
She replied in kind,
"I wouldn't mind.
But I will give you an hour
To buy me a flower."
That made the boy really sad,
Because a quarter was all he had.
He asked his sister to give him some dough,
But she just reminded mim that five bucks he owed.
So a scrubber of pots he was,
And a remover of floor dirt and fuzz
And within that hour he obtained the power
For an awsome chocolate valentine flower!

This poem is really cute. Do you normally prefer couplet rhyme schemes in poems?

Thank you! I do like couplet rhyme schemes, but I do not really prefer any specific rhyme. Although, I do like monorhymes as the writer can get creative. These two rhymes schemes are fun to read. Do you have any poems submitted on powerpoetry.org?
