China Dolls

Thu, 06/25/2020 - 16:41 -- SEMM

Do you think you can throw your body without stall

Onto mine, and force me and touch me?

I am not a China Doll

Waiting for personal use from you like this is free

You’ve taken something from me that I can never get back

You’ve taken something from me and all the me’s around the world

Because you think you can flee after making such a twisted attack

Giving us pain and shame swirled

My body is not sitting on a shelf with smooth porcelain

That you get to feel and use until I’m worn out

Do you have to go back a few more times until your certain-

That the fruit you’ve picked and have been tasting is in drought?

But before you go, watch me reclaim it- however long it takes, years or weeks\

China Dolls are no longer helpless or silent with quiet tears dripping down porcelain cheeks.
