A Child's Imagination Come to Life

A fairy tale is a made-up story that everyone hopes to believe is true

Parents tell their children and they hope to fulfill their wishes

Once they read them, they don’t feel blue

Reading these stories stop the time so they won’t have to do the dishes

Fairy tales are a parent’s way out

Their children have the imagination and dream big

Once the stories are told there isn’t an ounce of doubt

Bedtime Stories told it best, with a big-eyed guinea pig

They are short stories of an imaginary land

The children picture a new world in their head

It’s exactly what the parents had planned

They just wanted their children to go to bed
