A child born out of drugs.
The mother a whore.
The father, has given no fucks.

At one year old.
Taken away by the goverment.
Parent are to dangerous, are what he was told.

At the age of two.
Picked up by a familly.
Who seemed loyal and true.

Now he is three.
The dad became a drunk.
Violence is what he sees.

Now he is four.
Dad is a abuses mom.
Violence, sees more and more.

Now he is five.
He is in school.
First day, first fight.

Now he is six.
Kicked from three schools.
For calling the principles pricks.

Now he is seven.
Taken from the goverment again.
The child finds no safe heaven.

Now he is eight.
Picked up by a new caring familly.
Who he really hates.

Now he is nine.
Is in court.
For commiting his first crime.

Now he is ten.
Behind bars.
For stabbing a student with a pen.

Now he is eleven.
Soon to be free.
Made buddies with another kid named Kevin.

Now he is twleve.
Is now free,
Yet, still has no respect for himself.

Now he is thirteen.
Began a "decent" life.
Sold drugs and more in between.

Now he is fourteen.
Found Kevin in a store.
Stole beer and were not seen.

Now he is fifteen
Buddies in crime with his friend.
Never to be caught, is what they believed.

Now he is sixteen.
Joined a gang.
He was the toughest, or so he thought he seemed.

Now he is seventeen.
Put to the test.
Told him to kill his friend, what a close friend is what he had been.

Now he is eighteen.
Attempted murder is what he was charged.
He was in jail, but not grim.

Now he is nineteen.
His victim is what he saw.
His life, his life he came to reap.

He was about to be twenty.
This life,
This life, like so many.

End up dead.
Sometimes shot in the head
Or broken from head to leg.

Don't let this be your fate.
You have many roads.
Many roads you can take.
