Checkmate
She hides her eyes in fear they will reveal her lies,
Her defense from prying eyes her normal,
Always formal for if she be abnormal,
Her face would disgrace her only safe place,
She'd be a monster destroyed by a past that is too fast,
She wont last her mind relives her pain,
She wont sleep for her mind makes her weep with her own nightmares,
Trying to sleep never in peace,
Her lease is up its time for a release,
Shes done with formality tired of her reality,
Her eyes full of lies,
Im ok,
Im fine,
Im happy,
Soul dark and grey,
Legs crossed,
Arms folded,
Vision of perfection,
Though her reflection shows no affection,
Smile on her face,
Gun to her lace,
Used to hideing her face behind cold and grey,
They all realize,
Much to late,
Her fate,
The monsters won,
A pool of red,
Reveals inside her head,
Those lies lie by her side,
Her eyes void of light,
Once faintly there,
checkmate.
