Change your Perspective

As time goes by

the unfamiliar turns familiar

the unknown becomes known

the new turns old.

We lose sight of what was once

a bountiful opportunity as

the familiar becomes boring,

the known turns dull,

and the old loses its luster.

Perspective can change everything.

Look around you with a

new, unfamiliar, unknown eye.

Notice the abundance of beauty surrounding you.

Let the sights encompass the entirety of your being.

Consume yourself with the warm hues

of the sun melting the clouds into an array of color.

Moments define quality.

Don't let time dull your vision.

Change your perspective.
