Certain First World Problems: The Humor, The Reality, The Ridiculousness
My internet connection,
Where did you go?
How can I use facebook, or youtube, or any website in this regard?
What am I to do now that I do not have access to all your websites?
I have nothing to do except wait anxiously for your return
My cell phone,
Where did you go?
How can I text my friends, or make phone calls to people?
What am I to do now that I can't socialize with others that are far away?
I have to spend time looking for you instead of doing something fun
My satellite,
Where did you go?
How can I watch my favorite shows and movies?
What am I to do now that I can't sit on this couch and not get bored?
I have nothing to do except wait anxiously for your return
My car keys,
Where did you go?
How can I drive to places that I might want or need to go to?
What am I to do now that I can't go out and have fun with my life?
I have to spend time looking for you instead of doing something fun.
Oh the ridiculousness of certain first world problems
How some complain about temporary losses,
How others exaggerate the consequences of their losses,
There is no sympathy but instead annoyance
In third world countries
How often is the internet used?
How often are people seen with phones?
What about cars? And T.V.s?
There are many activities in this world
Mailing services are still available
Most people have two legs
It seems as though many humans,
Have forgotten the lifestyles that have passed
And are now living in the illusion of a world
That can’t occasionally regress back to the past
And for these people,
There is no sympathy,
Only annoyance.
