The Case

Each one of them is a suspect,

The air is thick with suspense.

The verdict wasn’t decided yet,

So the anxiety of all is immense.

They all look so uneasy,

But who will go to jail?

I wonder who is guilty?

Will anyone receive bail?

I think I know who did it!

Although, I may be wrong.

I think it’s him, that’s the culprit!

I should have known all along.

The jury are finally finished,

The time for justice is near.

I can only imagine what they’re feeling,

With the burden of judgment to bear.

A juror stands up with a sheet of paper,

And is stared at by every face.

Then BOOM! Goes the courtroom 2 seconds later,

And so is the ending of that case.
