Welcome to the world, where sunrise begins each day.
An epic struggle as night succumbs to the first ray
of light, which is hope shining through the dark,
surrounded by silence, the singing of a lark.
Yet each day closes with a sunset of majesty,
the birds of the air singing a jubilee
to the glory of all creation,
a spectacular sensation which greets every generation with the same exhilaration,
sparking imagination in every manifestation, leading to innovation that defies expectation.
Yet the beauty of life still remains beyond all explanation.
Even as daylight fades to a rosy dusk,
and the sun drops below the horizon just
as night consumes the glories of the Earth,
the dawn arrives bringing new birth.

This happens every day of every year of every decade;
not once in all of time has it ever been delayed.
Time waits for no man, we learn to hold on.
We do what we can as the world spins on.
We have to face reality, we must accept our mortality
if we wish to truly live to finality.
So it’s time to get busy livin or get busy dyin.
And that’s why we’re here, here tryin
to shape our lives in the fashion of dreams
no matter how hard it seems.
Because the pursuit of dreams is the pursuit of life:
a purpose for enduring all the strife.
If we but follow what we dream to do,
then all our obstacles we can break through.

It’s time to rise and live,
shoot for the skies and forgive,
learn from the pain and go against the grain,
dance in the rain and shatter old chains.
It’s time to relearn how to love,
time to rise above.
Feel the warmth of a loving hand, listen to a favorite band,
walk through wooded land, in the face of crisis take a stand.
Out of this life take what you can and give nothing back.
No matter how you began, take the less beaten track.
Because the way we came into this world is the way we’ll leave,
no matter what in life we managed to achieve.
So it’s true- as we’re living, we’re dying;
but that’s no reason for crying.
In the time that we have, we can learn to thrive-
live not like you’re dying but like you’re alive.
Follow your dreams no matter how far away,
and do not delay but seize the day.
