Car Crash

When love comes around
People rejoice love at last
But love never lasts
So when offered
I’d pass
For heart break
Is that car crash
With no air bags
And you just wanted to switch lanes
But it happened too fast
So you can’t react
And in a flash
What once was a heart
Burns to ash
Then your mother gasps
Because she just can’t grasp
The situation
That seems so dirty
And even though it takes two to drive a relationship
She asks the judge for no mercy
When it’s kind of your fault
For you got drunk in emotions and cruised the lanes of love
When you could’ve just walked

This is so real. Your use of imagery is great. I just really love this. And it is a perfect metaphor. I myself just went through a breakup so I know where you're coming from. Keep up the good work, snaps for you :)
